This print shows the Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of Saint Peter in York, but we know it more commonly as York Minster. The Minster in York is one of the UK's most famous landmarks, and one of the largest of its kind in Northern Europe. The site where it stands, had the first recorded church there in 627! Now, many, many years later, visitors flock from across the world to see it. This print studies in the Minster from the little road opposite, Precentor's Court, overlooked by the stunning Heart of Yorkshire, stained glass window.
